Meet Becca Carelock MA, LPCC

Hello and welcome! I’m Becca Carelock (she/her), a neurodivergent Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Ohio, with Kentucky licensure pending. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Kentucky University.

I believe therapy is for real people navigating real life, and sometimes life is messy, overwhelming, and complicated. My goal is to create a space where you can show up as your full, authentic self without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.

I enjoy working with teens (13+), young adults, adults, couples, and families. My areas of focus include ADHD and neurodivergence, anxiety and overwhelm, eating disorders and disordered eating, childhood trauma, veterans and military-connected individuals, identity and self-esteem, relationships, and life transitions.

I’m especially passionate about helping people better understand themselves, recognize patterns shaped by past experiences, and discover what genuinely matters to them. Whether you're navigating trauma, struggling with your relationship with food or your body, adjusting to life after military service, exploring your identity, or simply feeling stuck, you don't have to have all the answers before coming to therapy.

My approach is humanistic, person-centered, and trauma-informed. I incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy, tailoring our work to your unique needs and experiences. Together, we may explore the different parts of yourself, better understand the experiences that have shaped you, identify what matters most to you, and develop tools to help you move toward a life that feels more authentic and meaningful.

You can expect therapy with me to include compassion, authenticity, practical strategies, honest conversations, and, when appropriate, a little humor.

I am currently accepting new clients for individual, couples, and family counseling, both in person and virtually, Tuesday through Friday.

If you're looking for a therapist who will meet you where you are and help you better understand yourself while building a life that feels authentic to who you are, reach out through the contact form to get started.

Fees & Billing

I currently offer sessions at a self-pay rate of $150 per session for individuals, and $190 for couples/family sessions.

Note: Becca offers sessions in person and virtually to those who reside in OH.
