Hello, my name is Marilyn Bielinski (she/her) and I am a mental health therapist licensed in Ohio, Missouri, Illinois, and Kentucky as well as a telehealth provider in the state of Florida. I received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati in 2015 along with my license as a substance use counselor in the same year. I also provide supervision services for mental health counselors in Ohio and Kentucky, and substance use professionals in Ohio. 

I work with adults who have concerns ranging from anxiety, OCD, chronic and acute illness, depression, trauma, to relationship issues, addiction issues, LGBTQ+ spectrum and other areas. I believe that a quality therapeutic relationship is built on trust and authenticity. Therapy is about change, gaining skills, knowledge and confidence in a safe and supportive environment. I work hard with my clients and support them to make the changes they want to make.

Therapy can be scary, and sometimes down-right challenging work, but I believe that it can also be a fun and very meaningful process. I am certified in Reality Therapy and utilize skills from trauma-informed approaches including EMDR, Mindfulness, IFS, DBT, and TCBT. I understand how issues from our past and our present can sometimes make it hard to live the lives we want to live. I work to make therapy comfortable and supportive so we can tackle life's challenges together. 

Outside of therapy I enjoy reading, crochet, hiking and running, and traveling with family and friends.
